When Jornee is the right tool

Jornee answers the planning question Waze does not ask: which stop to take, and how much time will it cost, before you leave. Enter your origin and destination on any motorway in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium or France, choose your vehicle profile, and Jornee builds a ranked list of every qualifying stop along that corridor. Waze can show you a fuel station nearby, but it does not rank the full set of stops on your planned route by detour minutes, and it does not filter by HGV height or axle weight. Can Waze find stops along my whole route, not just nearby?

Waze can surface fuel stations along a route using its search-along-route feature, but it shows results near the route line rather than ranking every stop by the detour cost each one adds. It does not filter by HGV dimensions, EV connector type, or detour minutes, and it does not produce a ranked list of corridor stops for pre-drive planning. Jornee builds that ranked list so you can compare options before committing to an exit.

Does Waze have a truck or HGV mode?

Waze has a basic truck-routing mode that avoids some restricted roads and low bridges. It does not support full HGV dimension profiles: you cannot filter by maximum vehicle height, gross weight, or axle configuration the way professional drivers need to for compliance. Jornee's truck filter lets you set your exact vehicle dimensions so results exclude stops that cannot accommodate your rig.

Is Jornee a navigation app like Waze?

No. Jornee finds and ranks stops along your planned route; it does not provide turn-by-turn navigation or live traffic updates. Once you choose a stop in Jornee, the app hands off to your preferred navigation app, whether that is Waze, Apple Maps or Google Maps, to guide you there. The intended workflow is: plan your stops in Jornee before you leave, then navigate with Waze on the day.
