Where to find truck stops and parking on your route

Jornee finds truck stops and truck parking along your planned route by searching the whole corridor at once, then ranking every result by detour minutes, the real added driving time, not straight-line distance from the road. Enter a route on the A1(M), the M6 or the A7, and Jornee returns the truck parking, fuel stations and service areas that sit on or near it, sorted by how much time each one adds to the journey.

How the on-route search works for truck stops

Plan your route the way you normally would, then run an on-route search in Jornee for the categories that matter on a haul: truck parking, fuel, rest and service areas, food, or supermarkets for a quick restock. Jornee checks the corridor end to end and returns a ranked list, each stop labelled with the detour minutes it adds against your route rather than a raw distance figure, so a stop that looks close on the map but sits behind a slow junction does not outrank one that is genuinely a shorter add to your drive time.

Narrowing the list: brand, facility and open-now filters

A long list of stops is only useful if you can cut it down to what actually applies to your rig and your schedule. Filter by category (truck parking, fuel, rest area, food, EV charging, supermarket), by brand where you hold a fuel or fleet card, by facility such as toilets, showers, wifi or an ATM, and by open-now so a stop that is closed when you would arrive does not make the list. The same search surfaces live fuel prices where a station reports them, so you can compare before you commit to an exit.

What Jornee does not do: routing and navigation

Jornee finds truck-relevant stops on the route you already planned. It does not compute the route itself. There is no ADR-aware routing and no truck-safe routing engine behind the results, the route comes from wherever you planned it, and Jornee's job is searching that corridor for stops and ranking them by detour minutes. Once you pick a stop, Jornee hands the destination to your navigation app, Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze, for the turn-by-turn drive. It does not navigate in-app itself.

Getting started on iOS or Android

Jornee is free to start: three route searches a day, twenty-five in total, on iOS and Android, enough to plan a haul before you decide whether the paid tiers are worth it for regular runs. Search a route once, see truck parking and fuel stops ranked by detour minutes, apply the filters that matter for your rig, then hand off to your usual navigation app for the drive to the stop you picked.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I find truck stops and truck parking along my route in Europe?
Search your planned route in Jornee and filter for truck parking, fuel or rest and service areas. Jornee checks the whole corridor, not just the area immediately around you, and ranks every matching stop by detour minutes, the real added driving time to reach it, rather than by straight-line distance from the road. That makes it straightforward to compare a stop on the A1(M) against one a little further down the M6 and see which actually costs you less time.
Does Jornee rank truck stops by distance or by detour time?
By detour minutes, not distance. A stop that sits close to the road on the map can still cost more time to reach than one further away if it is behind a slow junction or a long slip road. Jornee calculates the actual added driving time for each stop along your route and ranks the list by that figure, so the top result is the one that costs you the least time off the corridor.
Can I filter truck stops by facility, like showers or wifi?
Yes. Jornee lets you filter on-route results by category (truck parking, fuel, rest and service areas, food, EV charging, supermarkets), by brand where you have a fuel or fleet-card preference, by facility such as showers, toilets, wifi or an ATM, and by open-now so a stop that will be closed by the time you arrive is excluded from the list.
Does Jornee provide truck-specific routing, like ADR or height-aware routes?
No. Jornee searches and ranks stops along the route you have already planned; it does not compute a truck-specific or ADR-aware route itself. The routing comes from wherever you planned your journey, and Jornee's role is finding and ranking the truck parking, fuel and rest-area stops that sit on that corridor by detour minutes.
Does Jornee navigate me to the truck stop I pick?
No. Jornee finds and ranks the stops; once you choose one, it hands the destination off to your preferred navigation app, Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze, for the turn-by-turn drive there. Jornee does not include in-app navigation.
Is the truck stop planner free to use?
Yes, with a free tier of three route searches a day and twenty-five in total, on both iOS and Android. That is enough to plan several hauls and try the detour-minutes ranking and filters before deciding whether a paid tier suits regular use.
